Lane plucks characters from the wrong end of the American dream - from the homeless to victims of car crashes - and offers us a glimpse into their worlds. With a noir, shadow-filled artistic style that draws inevitable comparisons to Charles Burns, Lane is clearly someone to keep an eye on if you like catching new talent as it blossoms into the world of comics.
