PREVIEW

As the World Burns

Subtitled 50 simple things you can do to stay in denial, this book is a satirical look at the state of the planet, and what lengths we might need to go to in order to save it. Refreshingly, it abandons the liberal rhetoric and goes for the jugular, ripping into government and individuals, while keeping its tongue firmly lodged in its cheek. It’s a bit of a comedy fantasy, with alien robots being given permission to eat the Earth in exchange for providing the US government with gold and rabbits rescuing each other from animal testing labs, but the message remains all too important: think about what we’re doing to the planet before it’s too late.
