Readers of previous Black Jack volumes are getting to grips with Jack’s heart of gold, despite the mean, mercenary exterior he uses as his public persona. This fourth volume takes this further still.
We also see more of the intriguing sidekick Pinoko and her devotion to Jack, as the rogue doctor continues his surgical mission: to cure the rich for a price and the poor for free.
