The cooking competition that kicked off in the last volume of Iron Wok Jan is still raging, though this time it’s Jan’s opportunity to pitch his chili oil against rival chef Ganou Riku’s grey spotted grouper sauce. Meanwhile Celine Yang, a fellow chef in Jan’s kitchen, is enraged when she finds out that her opponent would rather go up against Jan than her, causing a rift in a friendship already teetering on the brink.
