Justice League International
Mention the Justice League and you probably think of the likes of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, fighting together under the star-spangled banner of America. Which is what makes this Justice League International a bit different. It isn’t focused on the US, and Batman’s the only superhero from the JLA team. And that’s only the most obvious difference between this and the regular Justice League comics - considering this was originally published in the late 80s, alongside serious series like Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns, this lighter, funnier, less po-faced League must have been something of a breath of fresh air.
