Vittorio Giardino’s super-spy Max Friedman follows up his previous adventures (Orient Gateway and Hungarian Rhapsody) with a three-volume stint in the Spanish Civil War. Commissioned to track down a missing freedom fighter, Friedman attempts to maintain his neutrality. However, the complexities of war rarely allow anyone such liberty and the spy is soon as deeply embroiled in the same violent anarchy as everyone else.
