PREVIEW

Proper Go Well High

Oliver East’s books are fascinating small-scale travelogue. In Trains are… Mint he walked from Manchester to Blackpool, following the path of the railway, recording his thoughts and observations on the way. In this second book in the series it’s the turn of Liverpool, though the system stays the same – he walks from his home to another, and makes a graphic novel out of his experiences.

Eccentric, mildly peculiar and very, very British, Oliver East’s ponderings and paintings are well worth a look.
