Osprey Graphic History is a new range of book-length comics, documenting some of the world’s greatest battles. The Bloodiest Day is the story of the Battle of Antietam, one of the most horrific battles of the American Civil War. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by Scott Moore, the story doesn’t shy away from the human cost, attempting to put the battle into the wider perspective of American history, but also following the action through the eyes of the soldiers on the front line.
