PREVIEW

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

Originally published in French and winner of the illustrious Grand Prix de La Ville de Lyon Award of Illustration, this adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic (yellow brick) road trip by David Chauvel and Enrique Fernandez is promised, by its publisher, to be “fresh” and “breathtaking”. So it’s probably more suited to modern day audiences than the admittedly amazing for its time but getting increasingly stale musical movie version.
