Dan Dare

UPDATE: The 11th volume in the series – The Phantom Fleet – is out now.

If you’re not British and of a certain age, you could be forgiven for not having heard of Dan Dare. But to your average British male born before the Second World War, Dan Dare is an institution. Undoubtedly one of the most influential comic book characters the world has ever seen, Dan Dare was the cover star of anthology comic The Eagle – a post-war equivalent to what Judge Dredd is to modern sci-fi anthology 2000AD.

This series of reprints collects all the original Dan Dare strips from 1950 to 1969.
