Judge Dredd: The Complete Case Files

If you’re British, over 30 and have the slightest interest in comics, you can barely have avoided Judge Dredd. The lawman of the future dominated the British comics scene for (what feels like) a lifetime, and is still being published in British weekly sci-fi anthology comic 2000AD.

The Complete Case Files are exactly what they sound like – every episode of Judge Dredd, lovingly reprinted in chronological order. From epic series like The Cursed Earth and The Apocalypse War, to every one-off ever printed in the pages of 2000AD. All of your favourite adversaries are here too – Judge Death, the Angel Gang, Chopper. The list is truly awesome.

If you never sampled Dredd first time round, this is a great place to start. For the rest of us, it’s a nostalgic trip down memory lane – an ongoing comic series that has truly held two fingers up at the passage of time. And why shouldn’t it? Judge Dredd is the law. And don’t you forget it.
