If you've been waiting for Watchmen co-creator Dave Gibbons's The Originals to come out in paperback, your moment has come. Like a sci-fi version of Quadrophenia, Gibbons pushes the gang violence of the Mods and the Rockers into a futuristic world of hoverbikes and pleasure domes.

Titan Books has released its latest range of UK graphic novels reprinted from the DC Comics stable.
Top of the list comes The OMAC Project, the latest volume in the Infinite Crisis storyline, which examines how Batman's secret spy satellite falls into the hands of a cabal of super-villians lead by Lex Luther. Expect a full review here soon. Also featuring the Dark Knight is the highly acclaimed Batman: Under the Hood, which sees a new but somewhat less forgiving vigilante hit Gotham's streets. Superman: In the Name of Gog and Superman: True Brit are both Superman yarns previously available in hardback but with very different feels to them. In the Name of Gog sees Superman simultaneously battling with his toughest adversaries yet, while Lois Lane gets all shirty about a reunion with childhood flame Lana Lang; while True Brit examines what might have happened if Superman's space ship had landed in England rather than Kansas, with part of the writing credit attributed to Monty Python's John Cleese. You'll find Grovel's review of the book here. If you prefer DC's smaller hitters, Catwoman: When in Rome sees the feline femme fatale head over to Italy to work on a robbery, where she runs into a few old friends; while Teen Titans: The Future is Now, the fourth volume in this popular series, pits the young superheroes against their future selves.
