PREVIEW

’85

If you’ve heard of or read Three Days as the Crow Flies you’ll already know the premise behind this graphic novel, which has been adapted from his own story by Danny Simmons, with artist Floyd Hughes. Set in New York, it looks at how art and street culture clashed in the urban crucible of 80s America. Crow, a coke-fiend with an eye on the chance to make a bit of money, steals some art to try and sell on. But instead, he ends up embroiled in the hedonistic art scene of the time, where art and hard cash can buy as much sex and gear as a man can desire.
