Few readers of Grovel need to be told that comics aren’t just for kids. But there’s still a difference between comics that are aimed at mature audiences, and those that are unashamedly pornographic. First Time, from NBM’s Eurotica imprint, falls into the latter camp, but is beautifully illustrated by a range of artists that includes Dave McKean (Arkham Asylum) and Cyril Pedrosa (Three Shadows).
The book is a collection of 10 short stories written by a French woman called Syballine, exploring the first sexual experiences of a number of different people, either losing their virginity or experienced lovers trying something new and exciting.
