Writer and poet Jason Reynolds is the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature in the US and previously published Long Way Down as a ‘verse novel’. Now it’s had illustrations added by Danica Novgorodoff, to turn it into a poetic graphic novel.
Described by the publisher as “a ground-breaking and gritty look at teenage gun violence and grief,” it’s set to be published in the UK in October by Faber.
