Bravely going where countless comics, movies and TV episodes have gone before, The Return of the Worthy sees Kirk and his increasingly venerable crew exploring more uncharted corners of the universe. Thankfully, the worthy folk of the title isn’t a self-referential pat on the back for Shatner, Nimoy and the gang, but a group of Federation heroes the crew discovers, rescues and takes home. But can they acclimatise to the new uniforms? Reprinting issues 13-18 of the second volume of DC Comics’ monthly series from the early nineties, the production values are starting to look a little weary but the tales are pure Star Trek.
