PREVIEW

Starman Omnibus Volume 1

There aren’t many superhero jobs that are passed down from father to son – in fact, orphans like Batman, Superman and Spider-Man seem more likely to don the cape and pants. Starman, however, is a name that’s passed down the generations.

When elderly Starman Ted Knight gets too old and passes the mantle down to his eldest son David, however, no-one expects it to be the last thing thing David does. Least of all Jack, David’s younger brother, previously more interested in antique dealing than super heroics. However, he has to take up the job, but will his rebellious nature sit well with the superhero world?

This award-winning series from the mid-90s was written by James Robinson and illustrated by Tony Harris, and is due to be republished in six hardback volumes containing around 16 chapters each.
