As if being a teenager from another planet wasn’t confusing enough, Supergirl has problems in spades in this third volume of adventures. First there’s her Dad, sending her messages from beyond the grave and telling her to kill her cousin, Superman. Then there’s her double, from a past life or another dimension or something. Then there’s Batgirl beating up on her – aren’t they supposed to be on the same side? Then Powerboy starts hitting on her, but in the other way. Honestly, it’s almost too much for a teenage Kryptonian to take. Lucky for us, Kara Zor-El doesn’t take the usual teenage route (mope about, pick at food, play music through mobile phone speaker, binge drink) but faces her problems head on, with only a blue mini-skirt to protect her. Go girlfriend!
