Name of the Game, The

Joining The Dreamer on book shelves is another timeless classic from Will Eisner: The Name of the Game. This amazing work of fiction is so far removed from the genre pieces we know today that it’s of little wonder that Eisner is credited with doing wonderful things with the medium of comics.

The book follows three very different Jewish-American families as they find themselves coming together under a matrimonial umbrella. But while marrying into good families has always been seen as the path to greater things, Eisner shows that such marriages can cause as much heartache and unhappiness (and possibly more) than marriages made for love alone.
