Horror doesn’t often go hand in hand with superheroes, but when Steve Niles does Batman, you’re safe to assume it’s going to be an uneasy ride.
Batman’s usual stomping ground is restricted to Gotham City, but when ex-Commissioner Gordon requests that he steps beyond the city boundary and in to Gotham County, Batman finds the suburbs to be a whole lot deadlier than he was reckoning on. The mystery doesn’t seem too hard to solve, until the murders continue even after the murderer is caught and the victims start rising from their graves. What happens to the world’s greatest detective when he’s taken out of the realm of science and into the supernatural?
