Dryad initially looks like a twee fantasy story, about an elfish family living an idyllic life in a leafy forest village. But their lives get turned upside down when one of the twin children is kidnapped by strange creatures from another world, and the family’s secret history is revealed with a futuristic sci-fi twist.
Written by Kurtis Wiebe and illustrated by Justin Barcelo, this blend of sci-fi, fantasy and family shenanigans is due out from Oni Press on 6 January 2021.
