That none of the artists in this book are from mainstream comics, instead coming from the worlds of animation and web comics, makes for an interesting twist. Under Kazu Kibuishi’s editorship this annual anthology is going from strength to strength, making it a fascinating way to discover alternative new talent and immerse yourself in the enormous breadth of style and content available in comics.
