A surreal take on Americana from French artist Blutch

Originally serialised in French in the 1990s, Mitchum is made up of five comic vignettes that offer an alternative, dream-like view of America as seen from the outside. With stories featuring a shape-changing Robert Mitchum to explorations on slavery, expect surreal, feverish comics.

Blutch (aka Christian Hincker) isn’t widely known internationally but is deeply respected in France and was awarded the Angouleme Grand Prix in 2009.

Mitchum will be available in paperback on 7 April 2020.
