Richard Moore’s Boneyard has been gathering momentum and critical attention. This fifth volume of the graphic novel series collects issues 16-20 of the horror/comedy comic, and is printed in the original black and white – there’s another reprint of the books underway in colour, which is up to volume 2. Confusing it may be but it’s worth sticking with if you like your horror mixed with dark laughs.
Abbey, Michael and the gang are faced with two scary horror clichés in this book – a chainsaw wielding mass-murderer let loose in an all-girl camp (what were they thinking?) and a gourd-noggined sleep-inducing monster called, you guessed it, the Pumpkinhead.
